One of our best discoveries was Pass-a-Grille beach, south of St Pete beach. It is easy our best contender for Florida best beaches. Oh, Kaanapali!! This was our favorite beach for sure! It is flanked by many resorts and it has a great shopping center with many restaurants and stores for all of those who want to shop. Us? We stuck to the beach for most of it and loved it so much we stopped by twice during our time in Maui. Beautiful, clear waters and sea turtle sightings to make it even more wonderful! Baby Beach, Lāhainā, Maui, Hawaii, USA Welcome to Maui! The airport in Kahului sits between the east and west sides and its mountains. We stayed in Lāhainā on the west side: The Royal Capital of the Hawaiian Kingdom. Lāhainā means "cruel sun"* in Hawaiian so we went to check it out at Baby Beach.
